Drum corps to visit East Troy

The East Troy Showcase drum corps show will be at 7 p.m. on Wednesday, Aug. 1, at East Troy High School, 3128 Graydon Ave. The Drum Corps International Open Class event is being presented by Forward Performing Arts. The show will feature the 2017 DCI Open Class champions the Vanguard Cadets of Santa Clara, California. Also scheduled to perform are: Vanguard Cadets of Santa Clara; Spartans of Nashua, New Hampshire; Shadow of Oregon, Wis.; Louisiana Stars of Lafayette, Louisiana; Jubal, Dordrecht of the Netherlands; Gold of Oceanside, California; and the Colt Cadets of Dubuque, Iowa. Tickets are $15 for sections B and C and $10 for sections A and D. Specific seats within the defined sections are not assigned and are first come, first serve. Tickets are available at www.madisonscouts.org. Gates open at 5 p.m.
