A Jeep makes its way through the mud bogs at last year’s Genoa City Days. The 32nd annual event gets under way Friday with performances by Ruthie, of Missouri, at 4:30 p.m. and Big Noise, of Milwaukee, at 8 p.m. First Congregational Church’s pig roast is at 5 p.m. and bingo at 6 p.m. in the north shelter. Saturday’s festivities begin at 8 a.m. with a blood drive and culminate at 8 p.m. with Chasing Amy, of Nashville. Saturday’s highlights are the parade at noon, the inaugural Genasnoers Car Show at 1 p.m. and the kids’ fishing derby from 1 to 4 p.m. The mud bogs start at 9:30 a.m. Sunday.
