The hills are alive … with color

Obscured for much of the past week by clouds and rain, autumn revealed itself in all of its colorful finery on the appropriately named Sunday. This shot was captured near Alpine Valley in the Town of Lafayette. The color didn’t last long, however, as a cold front bringing wind and rain passed through the area Wednesday, sending most of the leaves to the ground. (Photo by Ed Nadolski)
