Hugh C. Brown, 92, of Delavan died Saturday Sept. 29, 2012 at Holton Manor Nursing Home in Elkhorn. He was born Feb. 27, 1920 in Lodi to the late Charles and Evelyn (Scharfenburg) Brown. He married Myrtle Walther in 1946 and she preceded him in death July 25, 2008. He worked for Amon and Sons Contractors in Elkhorn as a heavy machine operator until his retirement.
His daughter Betty of Milwaukee; sons, Hugh and Todd of Delavan; sister, Mary Strieb and many grand and great-grandchildren survive him. Son, Charles and brothers and sisters further precede him in death.
Funeral services are 10 to 11 a.m. on Oct. 3 at the Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan. Burial will follow at Darien Cemetery. Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan assisted the family. Visit monroefh.com
