Foucault wins medley at Southern Lakes Conference meet

Whitewater swimmers captured six medals – including one conference title by Sara Foucault in the 200 individual medley – at the Southern Lakes Conference Meet in Lake Geneva Saturday.
While Foucault also finished third in the 100 Butterfly, teammate Sydney Zidmars took fifth in the 200 freestyle and third in the 500. Grace Fanshaw earned medals in the 500 freestyle (fourth) and 200 individual medley (sixth).
Sierra Minton was singled out for her 29.66-second swim in the 50 freestyle. Alyssa Nelson had a personal best in the 200 free and Maritza Xochipa swam the 100 free in 1:10.42

Junior varsity meet
The Whitewater junior varsity swim team ended its season with a strong performance against Elkhorn. The team won eight medals in all and posted 33 personal-best times.
