The University of Wisconsin-Whitewater Warhawks football team traveled to UW-Platteville Nov. 1 for a battle for first place in the WIAC Conference. The Warhawks notched their 25th straight victory, beating the Pioneers 17-7 to take sole possession at the top of conference standings. Running back Jordan Ratliffe, shown in a game earlier this season, carried the ball 14 times for 105 yards. UW-Whitewater will close out its regular season schedule at home Saturday, Nov. 8 against UW-Stevens Point.
