It took the Big Foot boys basketball team about a half Feb. 19 night to figure out how to deal with host Whitewater’s physicality and size advantage.
Unfortunately for the Chiefs, by the time they started to get a little more comfortable, it was just a little too late.
Big Foot fell behind, 27-15, at halftime and couldn’t recover in a 50-35 Rock Valley Conference loss that dropped the Chiefs to 3-18 overall and 1-16 in conference play.
The slow start was too much to overcome, Big Foot coach Jeff Fenrick said.
