The Big Foot-Williams Bay wrestling team scored 17 points to finish ninth at Saturday’s RVC Tournament at East Troy.
Evansville-Albany won the team title with 238.5 points, followed by East Troy with 231.5, Whitewater with 171, Edgerton with 164, Jefferson with 147, Brodhead-Juda with 110.5, Beloit Turner with 100, Clinton with 47 and Big Foot.
Colton Berg (182) was 2-2 on the day to finish fifth, including two victories over Edgerton’s Matt Cornett, both by pin. In the opening match, Berg (9-11) pinned Cornett in 2:40, followed by a pin in 3:55 in the third-place contest.
Titus Fredrick (145) was 1-2 to finish sixth. Fredrick (7-21) pinned Beloit Turner’s Nate Draeving in 52 seconds in the consolation round.
Also competing for the Chiefs was Raul Rojas (152, 8-18), who was 0-2.
Big Foot returned to East Troy on Saturday to compete in a WIAA Division 2 regional.
