For 18 minutes Tuesday night, the Big Foot boys basketball team was right with visiting Brodhead.
But the last 18 belonged the Cardinals – and that was the difference.

The loss dropped Big Foot to 2-1 overall and 1-1 in the RVC.
Brodhead held a 42-38 lead at halftime and outscored the Chiefs 40-29 in the second half.
Freshman Logan Eischeid led the way with 17 points on the strength of three 3-pointers, followed by Beau Cary with 13, Zak Greco with 11 and Heath Dillenbeck.
Big Foot, on the strength of a monster game from Cary, opened its week with a solid 88-66 RVC win Dec. 3 at Parkview.
The Chiefs put things out of reach with a 43-29 advantage in the second half.
Cary led five Big Foot players in double figures with 29 points and 16 rebounds. Greco added 14 points and nine assists, followed by Eischeid with 13 points and nine rebounds, Nelson Tovar with 12 points and Dillenbeck with 10 points.
