The Big Foot volleyball team posted a 1-5 overall record at Saturday’s Badger Invitational.
Big Foot’s lone win came against Williams Bay, 27-25, 25-21. The Chiefs fell to Badger, 19-25, 20-25; to Elkhorn, 22-25, 25-22, 13-15; to Jefferson, 21-25, 18-25; to Madison West, 18-25, 17-25; and to Clinton, 22-25, 15-25.
The Chiefs opened play Sept. 25 with a 26-24, 25-13, 25-15 Rock Valley Conference win over visiting Beloit Turner.
Leading the way were Samara Enz with nine kills and three aces; Rachel Heidenreich with seven kills; Morgan Hoey with two aces; Ally Mazur with two aces, two blocks, nine digs and 22 assists; Julia Gilstrap with two aces and six digs; and Gloria Escarco with two aces and nine digs.
Big Foot (4-1 RVC, 8-20-1 overall) traveled to Palmyra-Eagle Tuesday night and hosted Brodhead Thursday. The Chiefs travel to Clinton Oct. 7.
