Elkhorn wins 8 of 11 individual titles for first crown in five years

The Elks left little doubt as to who the Southern Lakes Conference’s best boys swim team is this season.
Elkhorn won eight of 11 individual conference titles and won its first SLC title since 2012-13 on Feb. 3 in the SLC Varsity Meet at Badger High School in Lake Geneva.
Elkhorn swims Saturday in a WIAA Division 2 sectional meet at Nicolet High School in Glendale.
“They were on point,” Elks coach Jamie Richardson said of the Elks’ performance at the SLC Meet. “It was good to see. I was on pins and needles the whole meet. There were some really good finishes. They really dug deep.”
