The Rock Valley Conference schedule is just starting to heat up, but the East Troy High School girls volleyball team found itself with an early-season test last week.
And the Trojans passed with flying colors.
Playing at McFarland, East Troy rolled through the first two sets and bounced back from a Spartans’ rally in the third for a 25-15, 25-14, 22-25, 25-20 victory Sept. 11 to improve to 9-3 overall and 2-0 in the RVC.
Sprawl Invite this weekend
East Troy heads to the always-challenging West Bend East Sprawl Invitational this weekend.
“The Sprawl is always a good measuring stick for most teams,” Weis said. “You will either come together as a team or it will be the start to some trouble.
“We are asking about what we need to do as a team so that we can make this a memorable week for the girls. We have to be consistent as a team and like always, we need to play great defense.”
