Four members of the East Troy boys basketball team recently earned All-Rock Valley Conference North Division honors.
Leading the way were a pair of first-team selections, senior Jonathan Ciriacks and freshman A.J. Vukovich.
The Trojans also landed two players –Jared Brehm and Nick Bourdo – on honorable mention.
Ciriacks poured in 486 points in his final high school campaign, good for a 21.1 per-game average. Ciriacks, who is headed to UW-Stout in the fall, finished second in player of year voting behind Evansville senior Brennen Banks.
Vukovich made quite a splash in his first high school season, as he scored 348 points (15.1 per game). Bourdo finished with 225 points (9.8 per game), while Brehm had 192 (8.3 per game).
East Troy finished the year at 14-9 overall and 12-4 in the RVC, good for third behind co-champions McFarland and Evansville.
Both Banks and Turner’s Alec Fruin, who was the South Division’s player of the year, were voted to first-team, All-Wisconsin Basketball Coaches Association Division 3 squads, which were announced Tuesday morning.
