Host Parkview had just enough offense to stop the Trojans Jan. 19 in a 38-34 RVC decision.

The loss dropped East Troy to 8-6 overall and 4-5 in the RVC.

Erin Rice led the Trojans with 20 points and six rebounds, followed by Mackenzie Lindow with six points and four steals. Kayla Casper added six rebounds, while Callie Vogel had five.

“We really had a difficult time getting into any kind of flow,” East Troy coach Jeff Brown said. “In a long season, you’re going to have a clunker or two, and we had a clunker (in the loss).”

East Troy led by four points with 2:38 left, but had five straight turnovers that led to four baskets on the other end, Brown said.

The Trojans host Evansville tonight at 7:15 p.m.
