East Troy traveled to the two-day Northern Exposure Tournament last week at Merrill and came back with a second-place finish in the third-place bracket.
The Trojans were 3-2 in the opening round, which sent them to the third-place bracket.
East Troy fell 39-36 to Waukesha South in the opening dual, but bounced back to close the trip with a 40-34 win over Kewaskum.
More details from the event were unavailable this week.
East Troy traveled to Edgerton Thursday night for an RVC dual and will compete Saturday at the Burlington Tournament.
Wrestling alumni invited Jan. 15 meet
The second annual East Troy High School wrestling alumni gathering will be Friday, Jan. 15, at the high school. Any athlete who participated in the wrestling program is invited to attend.
Sign-in will be at 6 p.m. Introductions of wrestlers and former coaches will be at 6:45 p.m., followed by a Varsity match vs. Kenosha St. Joseph’s at 7 p.m. Admission is free for wrestling alumni.
After the match, wrestlers, families and East Troy fans are invited to meet at Ivan’s Backstage on the East Troy village square, 2087 Division St., for refreshments and storytelling.
