Girls snap three-game skid

The East Troy girls ended the 2015-portion of their schedule last week with a 63-56 non-conference win over visiting Milwaukee Messmer.

East Troy built a 33-21 halftime lead, and then had to hold off a Messmer rally in the final 18 minutes to pick up the win.

Katrina Santos had another monster night, as she poured in 24 points, and added 15 rebounds, five steals and five blocked shots. Kayla Casper had 15 points and 17 rebounds, while Maddie Rosin chipped in with 12 points and seven rebounds.

MacKenzie Lindow added five assists in the victory.

The Trojans (4-5 overall) were scheduled to host Random Lake Monday night. Results were unavailable this week.

East Troy takes its 1-5 RVC mark into a road game Thursday night at Palmyra-Eagle.
