Strong “D”

The Comets defense including Luke Freitag (No. 15) and Ross Gengler (No. 6) get ready to tackle Lodi’s Colton Nicolay in Delavan-Darien’s season-opener last Friday. The Comets fell 14-0 to Lodi but the defense played well overall, according to the coach, holding Lodi to one touchdown until very late in the game.
