Harry Conrad Stoll, Sr., 80, formerly of Delavan, passed away April 1, 2024, at Holton Manor in Elkhorn.
Harry was born on Aug. 26, 1943, in Chicago, to Anton and Ellen (Boomsma) Stoll. The family later moved to Sharon. He attended Sharon Elementary School and was a proud graduate of Big Foot High School, Class of 1961. He married Charlotte Kay Lawrence on Sept. 21, 1963, at Fontana Community Church.
Harry was employed by Chrysler, in Belvidere, Illinois, for 32 years. He gained life-long friends while working in the automotive industry. After retirement, he joined the grounds keeping team at Lake Lawn Golf Course for many years.
He also enjoyed woodworking and refinishing wood furniture. He was involved with landscaping and gardening at church and participated in bible study. Most of all, he enjoyed spending time with his family, playing games, and talking.
Harry is survived by his wife, Charlotte, of 60 years; children, Harry (Ann) Stoll, Glenn (Alison) Stoll, Eric (Jennifer) Stoll, and Jason (Shelly) Stoll; grandchildren, Emily, Samuel, Joseph, Bradley, Benjamin, Micah, Joshua, Reagan, and Kaylee; and one great grandson, Adler.
Harry was preceded in death by his parents; three brothers, Anton, Elmer, and John; and three sisters, Jessie, Eleanore, and Antoinette.
Visitation will be held at Toynton Walworth Funeral Home, 328 Kenosha St. on Saturday, April 13, from 10 a.m. until the time of service at noon. Burial will follow at Brick Church Cemetery.
