He was born at home Nov. 12, 1940, in Richmond Township, the son of the late Emil and Lavina Odling. On Jan. 14, 1961, in Spring Prairie, Stan was united in marriage to Maria Risseeuw.

He was a true entrepreneur from starting Odling Construction, moving houses out of the Milwaukee area to Delavan Lake Area, purchasing many rental homes, and the purchase of the Radar Base in Elkhorn.
After retiring, Stan really enjoyed their home on the weekends in Browntown, restoring cars and tractors, going to farm shows and thresheree’s, and his horse racing with Silent Win and Who Let the Dogs Out.
