Janice “Jan” Sylvia Brady, 83, of East Troy found peace Jan. 7, 2022, in Waukesha. She was born in East Troy to Al and Sylvia (nee Sparr) Karnath and was a lifetime member of the community.
She graduated from East Troy High School, met and married the love of her life, Fran, in East Troy and raised their family there.
She was the bakery manager at Ray’s Shoprite after starting there as a cashier. Through her retail career she also worked at The Trading Post and at Baker Labs.
Jan enjoyed bowling, snowmobiling, camping, playing cards, gardening and decorating for every holiday. Most of all she enjoyed her grandchildren.
She is survived by her daughters, Kim (Steve) Peter, and Micki (Turtle) Saunders; grandchildren, Angela (Ben) Ziolecki, Jenny (Eric) King, Gina, Genevieve and Lexi; great-grandchildren, Charlie, Riley and Vivian; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, daughter, Cindy, and son, Terry. Services are pending.
