Ervin J. Dominski, 93, of East Troy, passed away peacefully Nov. 24, 2021. He grew up in South Milwaukee.
He married his “Sweetie Pie,” Elsie Kosloske, in 1949. They then relocated to East Troy where they raised their family of 10 children. He was a beloved member of the East Troy community.
Erv was a great musician who was an accomplished guitar and steel guitar player, as well as an avid deer hunter. Erv was known as “Mr. Fixit,” as he could fix anything.
He was a “Jack of all Trades,” an independent mason and carpenter, the Town of Troy assessor, and operated the Town of Troy dump. He also played a vital role at the Milwaukee Railroad, Trent Tube and Hull House (Timber-Lee).
Erv and Elsie built, owned, and operated the bar known as E&E in Mukwonago.
He is survived by his “Sweetie Pie” of 73 years, Elsie; children, Sandi (Mike) Van Wyhe of Arpin, Peggy (Mike) Woychik of Black River Falls, Erv Dominski Jr. of El Cajon, California, Bobb Dominski of Mesa, Arizona, Sue (Dale) Healey of East Troy, Tom (Jackie) Dominski of East Troy, Chuck (Lisa) Dominski of East Troy, Dan Dominski of Oconomowoc, and Jenny Dominski of East Troy.
He was the beloved brother of Lucille Wandke and Rita (Jerry) Stahl, loving grandfather of 21 grandchildren, 31 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild. He was also loved by his nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Edward and Delia Dominski; daughter, Joey Donelson (Dominski); sisters, Lori Adamczyk and Susie Bachand; brothers, Fr. John Domin and Eddie Dominski; and grandson, Charles Edward Dominski.
As Erv would always say, “Life. Is. Good!”
Mass of Christian burial will be at 2 p.m. Friday, Dec. 3, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1981 Beulah Ave., East Troy. Visitation will be from noon until the time of Mass at the church.
