Carl E. Hugg, 81, of Elkhorn, passed away on Oct. 27, 2021, at Williams Bay Health Services.
He was born in Elkhorn on Dec. 9, 1939, to Warren and Nadine (Osborne) Hugg. Carl was united in marriage to Jane Hathorn on Nov. 23, 1957. She passed away on Oct. 23, 2012.
Carl worked for the Elkhorn Street Department for 35 years and was a member of the Elkhorn Fire Department for 25 years. He also was a security guard at Madison Classics. Carl was very social and enjoyed doing many things including collecting scrap metal.
He is survived by his daughter, Sherry (John) Lundahl, of Delavan; two grandchildren, Braindy (Allen) Letts and Jolene (Bill Jr.) Lange; four great-grandchildren, Jonathon, Kayla, Cody and Gwendolyn; and many nieces and nephews.
Carl is preceded in death by his wife, Jane; and his parents.
The Hugg family will greet family and friends on Saturday, Nov. 13, from 2 to 4 p.m. at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan. A private burial will be held at Roselawn Memory Gardens.
Monroe Funeral Home in Delavan is assisting the family.
