Eleanor G. Oleston, 85, a lifelong resident of Delavan, passed to eternal life on Sept. 27, 2021, at Rosewood Manor.
She was born in Madison to Newton and Alice (Nicholas) Heiss on Oct. 21, 1935.
Eleanor is survived her children, Daniel (Pamela Predick) and Chris Oleston; grandchildren Tim Oleston and Brook (Charles) Cervenka; great-grandchildren Elliana, Gwenyth and Georgia Cervenka; brother Lyle (Marilee); her former husband, Don Oleston; nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
Eleanor, along with Don, were longtime owners and operators of The Anchor In, Corner Café and Triple C Catering, and then began her 45-plus year career in real estate, starting Oleston Realty and then Century 21 before retiring in 2003.
Visitation will be held at Lazarczyk Family Funeral Homes–Betzer Chapel, 118 S. 2nd St., Delavan, from noon to 2 p.m. on Friday, Oct. 1. The service will be at 2 p.m. at the funeral home with the Rev. Chuck Cervenka officiating. Interment will follow at Spring Grove Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the Wisconsin Alzheimer’s Association would be appreciated.
