Gloria Jeanne Fritsche (Haldeman) was called home on May 28, 2021.
She was born Jan. 30 1948, in Lebanon, Pennsylvania. She found joy in expressing her talent and creativity by making quilts and sharing them with people in need.
Gloria was socially active and loved to entertain and participate in community events and gatherings. She passionately enjoyed music and singing, especially the magnificent Patsy Cline. She cherished her opportunity to work and preform at Little Darlin’s Rock N Roll Palace in Kissimmee, Florida.
Throughout her life she made special friendships residing in Pennsylvania, Virginia, Florida, Wisconsin, Indiana and Arizona. She traveled the country extensively with her late husband, Donald, in their RV.
She is survived by her parents, Jacob (Alice) Haldeman and Carmelita Long; children, Bryan Weaver (Lynnea) and Lisa Marie Weaver (Robert Albert); and grandchildren, Monique and Hunter. She will be missed by her many loving family members and friends.
Gloria generously donated her body to the Anatomical Education Program at Indiana University School of Medicine. This gift will contribute significantly to the advancement of health science education in the state of Indiana. Those, like Gloria, who decide to bequeath their bodies to the health sciences have made a significant contribution that benefits the quality of life and care for the living.
