Ronald G. Burke of East Troy passed away Feb. 20, 2021, at Angels Grace Hospice in Oconomowoc.
Originally of Mt. Morris, Illinois, Ron was born May 23, 1950, to the late Arthur and Harriet (Hogan) Burke.
He was a 1968 graduate of Mt. Morris High School and attended the Milwaukee School of Engineering.
Prior to retirement, Ron spent many years in the employ of Wildeck Mezzanines and A.O. Smith Corporation.
Ron was an active hunter and outdoorsman who enjoyed his time in Wisconsin’s north-woods and on the waters of Lake Beulah, usually accompanied by a pet golden retriever. He was a dedicated fan of the Packers, Brewers, Bucks, and Badgers.
Ron is survived by his long-time partner, Judy Gilmore; son, Dan Burke (Dawn); grandson, Domonic Burke; canine, Archie; other relatives, and many friends.
The family plans to make a memorial donation to a cause that Ron supported. In lieu of flowers, those wishing to contribute may forward a memorial donation to the family.
Ron’s family extends its appreciation to the staff at Angels Grace Hospice for the care and comfort they provided him in his final days.
Legacy Funeral Services in East Troy is assisting the family with a private service. Interment will be at Oak Ridge Cemetery, East Troy.
