Joanne M. Williams, 86, of Elkhorn, passed away on Jan. 5, 2021, at Mercy Hospital & Trauma Center in Janesville.
She was born in Buffalo, New York on Sept. 26, 1934, the daughter of Walter J. and Emily Cooper. She married Charles R. Williams on June 25, 1955, in Buffalo.
Joanne was the ultimate homemaker, taking care of her family. She was referred to as the “Domestic Goddess” as well as “Mimi.” She was such a wonderful mom, grandmother and great grandmother. “Chef of the Future” and always dressed to the nines. She loved her tea and all the grandkids always had to have a sip of Mimi’s tea.
She is survived by her husband, Charles of 65 years; three children: Tracey (Gerry) Frederichs, Brett Williams and Kelsey (Billy) Pickering; 10 grandchildren: Jevonne Williams, Julia Williams, Cody Williams, Jonah Williams, James Pickering, Emily Pickering, Morgan Frederichs, Brad Lupo, Brett Lupo and Taylor Lupo; five great-grandchildren: Olivia Williams, Sophia Williams, Riley Williams, Jace Lupo and Adriaan Lupo; and other extended family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and brother, Robert F. Cooper.
