Irma Perez, 84, passed away on Dec. 24, 2020, at home surrounded by family in Fort Wayne, Ind.
She was born in Dolores, Texas, to the late Jose and Apolonia (Rodriguez) Arambula. She married Andres Perez Jr. on Jan. 15, 1956, and he survives. She also resided in Laredo, Texas and Delavan. Irma was a devout member of St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church. She was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children, Andres Perez III (Sally), Gerardo Perez (Laurie), Jose Perez, Eduardo Perez (Sally), Lisa (Irma) Glaze (Kenny) and Rachel Rodriguez; siblings, Juan Arambula (Carolyn) and Aurora Carrales (Ramiro); her sisters-in-law and spouses, nieces and nephews, 21 grandchildren, 28 great- grandchildren; and two great- great grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by three brothers, Jose, Mario, Arturo Arambula; and son-in-law, Jesus Rodriguez.
Visitation will also from 2 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 30 at D.O. McComb and Sons Covington Knolls Funeral Home with a Rosary Service at 5 p.m. Burial in Greenlawn Memorial Park. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Thursday, Dec. 31 at St. Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church with visitation one hour prior to the service.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family.
