Evelyn (Schaid) Andersen, 92, of Walworth, our loving and devoted wife, mother and friend to all whose lives she touched, passed away on Oct. 20, 2020.
She was born on May 11, 1928, in Walworth, to the late Elsie and William Schaid. Evelyn graduated from Walworth High School in 1946.
In May 1950, she married Frank Andersen, and they had one daughter and three sons. Evelyn balanced her time working at Walworth State Bank, raising her children and babysitting her grandchildren.
She loved to cook, kept an immaculate house and loved music; she played piano, and the organ at Faith Lutheran Church for many years.
Evelyn will be forever in our hearts and dearly missed by surviving husband, Frank; son, Steve, of Harvard, Ill.; son, Randy (Jan) Andersen, of Janesville; daughter, Cindi (Ken Allender), of Prescott, Ariz.; son, Jon (Heather) Andersen, of Waukesha; and grandchildren, Kristen (Erik) Engebretsen, Jarryd (Stephanie) Andersen, Aidan and Taryn Andersen; great grandchildren, Landon and Annika Engebretsen, Lana and Harley Andersen.
She was preceded in death by her parents; daughter-in-law, Claudette; twin brother, Kenneth; and brother, Robert.
Due to COVID no services are planned.
