W. Gene Thompson, 90, of East Troy and formerly of Mukwonago, was carried home to the Lord by the angels Sept. 20, 2020.
She was a member of the East Troy Bible Church. She loved helping other people and truly was one of God’s servants.
Gene loved being out on the water on the pontoon boat, the Green Bay Packers, taking pictures, traveling, playing games like Skip-Bo, family ski vacations to Colorado, and most of all spending time with her family.
She was the loving mother of Thomas C. (Gail) Thompson, Jyll S. (Dan) Knautz, Dr. Stephen R. (Jane) Thompson and Peter S. (Janet) Thompson. She is further survived by 14 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren, two great-great-grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
Gene was preceded in death by her husband, Robert C. Thompson; son, Craig K. Thompson; sisters, Dawn Narron, Muriel Petri and Clair Munderloh; and her parents, Cecil and Mildred Narron.
Private family services were held for Gene. A celebration service will be held at East Troy Bible Church at a later date. If desired, memorial donations can be made to East Troy Bible Church in memory of Gene.
