Ronald D. Beaver, 61, of Palmyra, passed away on Sept. 17, 2020, at Mercy Hospital in Janesville following a courageous battle with cancer.
He was born on April 12, 1959, the son of Delane and Elsie (Riley) Beaver. He grew up in Palmyra and worked at Alpha Cast Inc. and then as a painter for Generac.
Ron married Sharon Skibbe and the two enjoyed many years together until her death in 2014. He was an avid outdoorsman and loved to hunt and fish. In his younger years, he enjoyed riding his motorcycle. Spending time with family was also very important to Ron. He will be greatly missed.
He is survived by his loving mother, Elsie Beaver, of Palmyra; and his two brothers, Dennis Beaver and Alan Beaver, both of Palmyra. He is also survived by other relatives and friends.
He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Sharon and his father, Delane Beaver.
Ron will be laid to rest during a private family service at a later date. Gibson Family Funeral Homes of Palmyra and Eagle is serving the family.
