Bonnie Ruth Anderson, 76, of Delavan Township, passed away peacefully with love surrounding her on Aug. 15, 2020, at Aurora Summit Hospital.
She was born in the New York Harbor on a naval ship to Captain Russell and Ruth Anderson (Miss Sweden.) She was a world traveler in her younger years schooling in England. She loved being a “Jersey Girl” and never forgot her roots.
Her heart would bring her to the Midwest to settle in a log cabin in the woods. She would open “Munchkin Manor” – her dog sitting business of more than three years. Her clients became lifelong friends. She was a also a renown psychic in the area, working her last 15 years at Ralph’s Steakhouse giving readings tableside until her retirement in 2006.
Bonnie is survived by all the lives she touched and all the animals she saved.
A visitation will be held from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Sunday, Sept. 27 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan with services to follow. Burial will be at East Delavan Union Cemetery. Attendees are asked to wear a mask and practice social distancing. Bonnie was a member of Fontana Community Church and the Rev. Ruth Costello will be officiating.
Her love of animals, her love of friends, and her love of God were her strengths.
