Russell E. Cords, 54, of Darien, passed away on Sept. 10, 2020, at home in Darien.
He was born in Harvard, Ill., on April 3, 1966. Russell was united in marriage to Sharon Erb. He worked for many years as a metal fabricator and area lead at Delco Metals in Walworth.
He is survived by his wife, Sharon; two sons, Justin Cervantes and Seth Erb; his mother and father, Geri Crowell and Harry Cords; three sisters, Penny Cannegieter, Judy Hawes and Robin Engle; and nieces and nephews, Keith, Robert, Amanda, Ben, Susan and David.
A visitation will be held from 4 to 6 p.m. on Tuesday, Sept. 22 at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave. in Delavan.
