Jon David Shepard, 57, of Elkhorn, passed to eternal life on Friday, July 17 at home in Lewisville, Texas.
He was born on Jan. 14, 1963 to the late Mary Lynn (Nokes) and Jon (Jack) Shepard.
Jon is survived by his fiancé Dorean Lynn Cullinan, his brother Jay Shepard, his daughter Abigail Shepard, his Uncle Wayne and Aunt Min Nokes. He is further survived by his nephew John and Teresa Shepard and their children Ethan and Jocelyn.
He worked as an electrician for over 20 years. Jon had a deep love for the outdoors and nature and enjoyed spending time on the 40 acres of land that was owned by his family. He liked to golf, snow ski, water ski and take hikes.
A private celebration of life for Jon’s family and closest friends will be held at the end of September.
