Teresa DeWolfe Bates, 76, of Waterford, passed away at her residence July 23, 2020.
She was the daughter of Terrence Edward and Esther Virginia Frecker DeWolfe; mother of Christopher A. Bates (Darien); and sister of Teddy DeWolfe, Dan DeWolfe (Aspen, CO), Pat DeWolfe (Allentown, PA), and Lisa DeWolfe Krueger (Platteville).
Teresa graduated from Delavan-Darien High School, attended college at the University of Northern Colorado and returned to Wisconsin where she lived the rest of her life in Delavan, Elkhorn, Rochester, and most recently, in Waterford.
She was an avid lover of animals. She volunteered for many years at a local horse farm, where she also cared for and loved her own horses, Ohio and Fala, as they lived out their lives.
She is preceded in death by her parents and brother Teddy.
