Lucille Johanna Hell (nee Link), 98, of East Troy, found peace on June 25, 2020, surrounded by her loving family. She will be deeply missed.
Lucille was born in New Berlin but was a lifetime resident of the East Troy area.
Upon finishing high school in East Troy, she graduated from Miss Brown’s Business College in Milwaukee. She then was employed at Wisconsin Electric Power Co. until her brother, Bud, brought a friend, Jim Hell, home on leave from the U.S. Army and they became engaged five weeks later.
After the war they eventually settled in East Troy and Lucille became a cook at East Troy High School. Later she was employed by Gwen Landry of Milwaukee Executive Charter Services at the East Troy Airport.
Lucille loved sewing and cooking and was a loving, devoted mother and grandmother. She was also a former member of St. Peter’s Ladies Sodality.
Survivors include her children Terry, Tom (Joanne), Jim (Marge) and John (Sandy); seven grandchildren; 11 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; sister, Jean Biltz; and other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband and six siblings.
A funeral Mass was held.
In lieu of flowers the family has suggested memorials to the American Red Cross or Season’s Hospice.
