Danny A. Frank Sr., 56, of East Troy, passed away on Sunday, Aug. 25, 2019 at his home. He was born Nov. 19, 1962, in Elkhorn, to Richard and June (Wendt) Frank.
Danny’s early life was spent in East Troy, where he attended area schools and graduated from East Troy High School. He was a lifelong resident of the East Troy area.
He married Barbette Dillman on May 18, 1985, at West Layton Assembly of God in Greenfield. Following marriage, they continued to reside in East Troy to raise their family.
Barbette preceded him in death on March 1, 2018.
Danny worked at Nestlé Chocolate in Burlington. He enjoyed working on computers, “playing chef” on his grill and loved spending time with his family. He had a great sense of humor and always enjoyed sharing a good joke. He was funny and had a way with words, so that he was articulate and a good conversationalist.
Danny is survived by his mother, June (George) Kropf; children, Amy Frank and Danny Frank Jr.; sister, Sue (David) August; nieces and nephews, Jessica (Joe) Jacobs, Jordan August and Sariah (Aaron) Pluess; along with many other aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones and friends.
He was further preceded in death by his father.
The family would like to thank the East Troy Police Department, 911 Call Center, East Troy Rescue Team and the Walworth County Medical Examiner’s Office for their wonderful care and concern during this difficult time. The family would also like to thank Julie from Grief Counseling for being with the family when they needed her the most.
In lieu of flowers, memorials to the family are appreciated.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Friday, Aug. 30, Schuette-Daniels Funeral Home & Crematory, 625 S. Browns Lake Drive, Burlington. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
Entombment at Roselawn Memory Gardens will follow the services.
