Terrance R. Riek, 71, of Burlington, passed away July 22, 2019 at Aurora Burlington Hospital. He was born Nov. 27, 1947, in East Troy, to George and Pearl (Schultz) Riek.
He spent his early life in East Troy where he graduated from area schools.
He married Susan Wedemeyer on Aug. 17, 1984, in East Troy. Following marriage, they continued to reside in East Troy. They later moved to Lake Geneva where they resided for many years before moving to Burlington this past year.
Terrance worked in housekeeping for many years with Aurora Hospital. He enjoyed watching basketball, baseball and football, especially the Green Bay Packers.
Terrance is survived by his wife; children, Bobby Jo (Jamie White) Riek White, Tony (Kim) Riek, James (Jerrie) Pillath and Rob (Zoe) Pillath; grandchildren, Ashlee, Autumn, Tory, Mackenzie, Anthony, Haley, Max, Olivia, Coby and Toby; great-grandchildren, Hope and Remmington; siblings, Betty, Esther, Louise, Butch, Joyce and Willie; and brother and sister-in-laws, John (Shannon), Terry (Cheryl), Sally, Tim (Rhonda) and Mary Jo.
He was preceded in death by his parents, five siblings and son, William Pillath.
The family would like to thank the staff at Aurora Burlington Hospital for their care of Terrance during this time.
No services will be held per Terrance’s request.
