Ronald F. Pyka, 82, passed away Feb. 9, 2019, at his home. He was born in August 1936 to Peter and Mary (Waldera) Pyka.
East Troy was his home for more than 40. He will be remembered by his neighbors as a quiet and kind person, who was a privilege to live by. He had a sense of humor and enjoyed hunting and ice fishing.
He is survived by his daughters, Brenda (Ken) Katzenberg and Pam Hiatt; grandchildren, Kara and Jakob Katzenberg and Amanda and Erin Hiatt; and four great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his wonderful neighbors, who were helpful and generous to him during his life, and the many cherished friends he made at Al Smith’s Saloon in East Troy.
He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Caroline, in 2005.
A visitation will be held from 2 to 4 p.m. on Monday Feb. 18, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy.
