Isabel Ramon Rodriguez, 65, of Belvidere, Ill., and formerly of Delavan, died at her home in Belvidere on Aug. 12, 2018 of natural causes.
Isabel was born Nov. 7, 1952, in Encinal, Texas, to Lazasro Gonzalez and Leandra Ramon. She married Elias Rodriguez on April 25, 1970, in Woodstock, Ill. Isabel was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church and active in community affairs.
She is survived by her beloved husband and sweetheart, Elias, of Belvidere, Ill.; two sons, Jose M. Rodriguez, of Georgia, and Rogelio Rodriguez, of Guam; daughter-in-law Heather; six grandchildren; two sisters, Leandra Mena, of Delavan and Rafaella Nieto, of Texas; and three brothers, Rafael, Alfredo and Febranio, all of Texas.
She was preceded in death by two brothers, Rogelio and Juan.
Funeral service was Monday at St. Andrew Catholic Church with the Rev. John Rafael Valgea officiating. Burial followed in the church cemetery.
