Warren L. Martinson, 88, of Whitewater, passed away June 21, 2018, at Fairhaven Senior Services. He was born on Sept. 18, 1929, in Chicago, to the late Godfried and Bertha (Voight) Martinson.
He married Marlene Diedrich in East Troy on Sept. 13, 1958.
Warren joined the U.S. Army and was stationed in Germany post war and was a member of the East Troy Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 7501.
Warren and Marlene lived in East Troy for 20 years prior to living in Hebron for 36 years.
He had worked for Trent Tube, now Plymouth Tubing, in East Troy for 33 years. He was a huge Chicago Bears and Cubs fan.
Warren is survived by his wife, Marlene of Hebron; children, James of Helenville, Laura (Michael) Cox of Jefferson, and Eric (Regina) of Fort Atkinson; grandchildren, Terry, Kara (Chad) Carpenter, Morgann, Logan Cox and Taylor Cox; great-grandchildren, McCoy Carpenter, Troy Cox and Payton Cox; sister, Anita Colvin and several nieces and nephews.
He was further preceded in death by his brother, John.
Following his wishes, no service will be held.
The family extends a special thank you to Fairhaven for its excellent care over the past years and to Rainbow Hospice for the care provided during Warren’s final days.
