Kathleen “Kathy” Tritz (Stauber), also lovingly known as “Ma Tritz,” 82, of East Troy, went home to be with her husband, Marvin “Red,” on May 15, 2018, surrounded by her loving family.
Kathy was born in Marshfield, on Oct. 16, 1935, to the late Aloysius and Marie Fredrich Stauber.
She met her husband in Marshfield and they were married June 26, 1954. They relocated to East Troy where they raised their family and were longtime residents.
Kathy worked for more than 30 years as a cook in the East Troy School District. She also cooked at St. Peter’s school, Lake Beulah Country Club, Camp Alice Chester, Alpine Valley. She touched many people with her cooking.
Her favorite hobby was spending time with her family. She will be greatly missed.
She is survived by her children Mark (Karen), Mary (Dale) Pipkorn, John (Sue), Greg (Kathy), Barb (Jeff) Acker, and Patty (Cliff) Storlie, grandchildren, great grandchildren, other relatives and many friends.
She was further preceded in death by her son Joe, and a brother, Fr. James Stauber.
Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. on Saturday, June 2, at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 1975 Beulah Ave., East Troy. Visitation will be from 9 a.m. until the time of Mass at the church.
