Arlene May (Finster) Hessler, 97, of Delavan, passed away April 2, 2018, at her home in Delavan.
She was born in Delavan, Feb. 8, 1921, to Henry R. and Margaret “Gretchen” (Duesterbeck) Finster. She graduated from Delavan High School in 1939 and worked in various secretarial and management positions. She was a lifelong member of Our Redeemer Lutheran Church and also a member of the American Legion Auxiliary.
Arlene is preceded in death by her husbands Burton Mackey and Richard Hessler; her parents; and a brother, Marvin Finster.
Funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday at Our Redeemer Lutheran Church, 416 W. Geneva St., Delavan, with the Rev. Robert P. Rickman officiating. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of the service Saturday at the church. Burial will take place at Spring Grove Cemetery in Delavan. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Our Redeemer Lutheran Church in Arlene’s name.
