Lifelong East Troy resident, Marjorie L. Kilpin, passed away peacefully on March 22, 2018. She was born in Milwaukee on Feb. 25, 1923, to William and Nettie (Holler) Pekel, and was a 1941 graduate of East Troy High School.
Marge was a loving wife to the late Robert “Dick” Kilpin for 68 years and a devoted mother and grandmother. She was active in church and community activities.
Marge enjoyed spending her time with family, watching sporting events, shopping for “just the right” outfit, traveling, reading, painting, and spending time in her flower garden. Her warmth and kindness spread to all who knew her, and she will be missed.
She is survived by her children, Patricia (Michael) Apple, Thomas (Kathy) and Richard (Trisha) Kilpin; grandchildren, Max and Miles Kilpin, Elizabeth Meza and Sarah Mattes; and three great-grandchildren.
She was further preceded in death a son, Robert, and siblings, Dorothy Johnson and Robert Pekel.
Services will be at 5:30 p.m. on Sunday, March 25, at Legacy Funeral Services, 2974 Main St., East Troy. Visitation will be from 4 p.m. until the time of services at the funeral home.
