James Allen Neumann. 91, of East Troy, died Jan. 28, 2018. He was born on Sept. 23, 1926, to Frank and Pauline (Gopa) Neumann in Milwaukee.
He graduated from Milwaukee Boys’ Technical High School and joined the Navy, training on an Aircraft Carrier. After World War II, he worked at Rexnord and took college courses.
Jim married Carol Mae Wolfmeyer on May 3, 1953; she preceded him in death July 29, 2009. They lived on Lake Beulah and were active members of St. James Methodist Church.
He was a pump engineer at Waukesha Foundry heading up the research and development department until he retired, then continued as a consultant.
Jim loved doing outdoor activities with family and friends, lake sports, flying kites, hiking and more. Most of all, Jim and Carol loved to travel and they had many travel adventures, both in the USA and internationally.
Survivors include his children, Scott, Ross, Kim and Jay; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brothers, Glen, Gordon and Donald; sister, Bonnie; three brothers-in-law; and many nieces, nephews, grand-nieces and nephews.
