John Claude “Jack” Hopkins, 88, of Troy Center, found peace Dec. 4, 2017. He was born in Eagle on March 27, 1929, to Claude and Catherine Hopkins.
He attended Troy Center grade school, East Troy High School and was a graduate of the University of Wisconsin–Madison.
His working years were that of a driver instructor and examiner for the Wisconsin Department of Motor Vehicles.
John was a member of St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church in East Troy and served his country with honor, as a member of the U.S. Army and the Army Reserves.
A funeral Mass will be at 12:30 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 7, at St. Peter the Apostle Church, 1975 Beulah Ave., East Troy. Visitation will be from 11:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church.
Interment will be at St. Theresa’s Oak Knoll Cemetery, Eagle.
