Lester D. Weiler, 72, of East Troy, died Nov. 6, 2017, in Waukesha, surrounded by his loving family. He was born to Clarence and Inez (Massoth) Weiler on May 17, 1945.
He attended Custer High School in Milwaukee and honorably served his country as a member of the U.S. Air Force.
He is a longtime resident of East Troy having moved here in 1997 and retired after many years of employment at A.O. Smith. He had a love of hard work and is fondly remembered by his family as a “tinkerer.” In leisure he enjoyed “classic” movies.
Survivors include his father; children, Kim (Rex) Moss, Jeanne (Don) Cahala, Carrie (Keith) Jahnke, Elizabeth (Michael), Eve (Mike) Swenson, Victor and John-Peter (Kala); grandchildren, Jason Haeuser, Tabitha (Sal) Lazaro, Allysa and Kayli Moss, Kayla and Antonio Weiler, Cameren and Caleb Michalski, Sharon Swenson, Jayden, Ava and Collin Weiler; sister, Linda (Randy) Rodman; other relatives and many friends.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Sharon (Ochs); mother; grandson, Connor; great-granddaughter, Brooklyn Lazaro; and brother, Gerald.
Memorial services will be 5:30 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 17, at the East Troy Bible Church, 2660 North St. Visitation will be from 4:30 p.m. until the time of service at the church.
