Imogene Marie Atkinson-Keats, 98, of East Troy, died July 26, 2017. She was born in Elkhorn, to Fred and Lillian Baltzer Share.
She was a graduate of Elkhorn High School.
She married Ned Atkinson in 1941 and they lived the rest of her life in the East Troy area. They farmed until Ned’s death in 1979. She married a second time in 1982 to James Keats. Jim died in 1998.
She was the mother of seven children, Janet (Jim) Enfelt, Hayward, Thomas (Judith) Atkinson, MarySue (Rick) Heidelmeier, Robert (Judith Rose) Atkinson, Richard (Jan) Atkinson, James (Nancy) Atkinson, all of East Troy, Eileen (David) Gale, of Luxenburg; 20 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren; sister, Patricia Ludtke of Elkhorn, and sister-in-law, Karen Share, of Miami, Fla.; stepson, James Keats Jr., of Hawley, Minn.; eight nieces and nephews, other relatives and many friends.
The family wishes to thank the staff of Ridgestone Terrace for their loving care the past three years. Also Dr. Neil Rennick and all the Aurora at home hospice team.
Services will be at 11:30 a.m. on Monday, July 31, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church, 1975 Beulah Ave., East Troy. Visitation will be from 10 a.m. until the time of services at the church.
