Burnell L. Walbrandt, 88, of Elkhorn, passed away July 19, 2017, at Vintage on the Pond in Delavan.
He was born Jan. 4, 1929, in Elkhorn, to the late Lester and Elsbeth (Piper) Walbrandt. He graduated from East Troy High School Class of 1946. He was united in marriage to Jacqueline Bohmann on Dec. 17, 1977, in Elkhorn. He dairy farmed in the area for many years and also worked as a sales manager for Scharine’s Farm System for more than 20 years, retiring in 1994.
He is survived by his loving wife of 39 years, Jacqueline; daughters, Susan (Richard) Kelman of Lake Geneva, Valerie Heth of Elkhorn and Cassi Hoffmann of Burlington; two granddaughters, Monica (Andy) Schwarm of Chicago, and Amanda Grenzow of Wash. He was preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Karen Grenzow; and a sister, Claudine.
Private inurnment will be at White Oak Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Fellow Mortals, W4632 Palmer Rd. Lake Geneva, WI, 53147, because of his true love of nature and wildlife.
