Peter J. Willemsen, 76, of Delavan, died May 20, 2017, at Aurora Memorial Hospital of Burlington.
He was born in Green Bay, Nov. 4, 1940, to Henry and Florence (Kersten) Willemsen. He served in the U.S. Marines. He married Kathleen Larsen Nov. 7, 1964. He worked at A.O. Bauer Glass as a glazier for 54 years before retiring.
He is survived by his wife of 52 years, Kathy; a daughter, Penelope (Kevin) Brellenthin, of Madison; three sons, Pete Campton, of Nevada, Paul Willemsen, of Madison, and David (Nakita) Willemsen, of Delavan; nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; two sisters, Jeannine Reynolds and Joyce (Jim) Bethke; a sister-in-law, Donna; and many nieces and nephews.
He is preceded in death by his parents; a daughter, Pamela Hawkins; and a brother, Roger.
Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Monroe Funeral Home, 604 E. Walworth Ave., Delavan. Visitation will be from 9:30 a.m. until the time of the service Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will take place at Roselawn Memory Gardens in Lake Geneva.
