Ruth Stack (nee Meyer), 73, died Feb. 6, 2017.
She was the mother of the Rev. Manda Stack, of Union Grove, and the late Andrew Stack; former wife of John Stack, of Elkhorn; and sister of the late Carol Meyer; and is also survived by other relatives and friends.
Ruth was an avid reader and enjoyed tutoring children. She was proud to have attended Cardinal Stritch University later in life, graduated with an associate of science degree and worked as an administrative assistant.
According to Ruth’s wishes, she desired to be cremated and placed into the family cemetery in Lamont, Ill. Private family services were held. If so desired, memorials to local libraries in Ruth’s name are appreciated.
